Before Amazon FBA existed, I was already figuring out how to make Amazon work. When FBA launched, I was one of the early operators reconfiguring listings and logistics to meet Amazon's new requirements — learning by doing at a time when there was no playbook to follow.
Over the next twenty years, I helped scale Amazon businesses from under $1 million to over $24 million in revenue. That meant working through every version of the marketplace — the early FBA days, the rise of Chinese competition, the shift to Brand Registry, the explosion of sponsored advertising, and the constant policy changes that catch most sellers off guard.
Through that journey, I worked alongside more than 140 brands and sellers across dozens of categories. I saw the same patterns repeat: brands losing control of their own channel to unauthorized resellers, sellers plateauing because their strategy was reactive, and businesses struggling to fully understand how Amazon actually works.
TenEightOne was built to solve those problems — with strategy and systems grounded in real marketplace experience, not theory. Every recommendation we make comes from firsthand operational knowledge inside actual Amazon accounts, with a deep understanding of brand presence, seller strategy, and marketplace behavior.
Amazon is complex. Our role is to simplify it, create clarity, and help brands and sellers make better long-term decisions.
